Samsung Galaxy A52 could be the next mid-range smartphone from the company. We can expect the new A52 launch sometime early next year, likely after the Galaxy S21 series launch, making the Galaxy A52 launch in January or February in 2021. In comparison, the predecessor Galaxy A51 launched in January, this year.
The Galaxy A52 is in discussions this early because its new renders have come up on the web, on the courtesy of OnLeaks (Steve Hemmerstoffer). The renders posted by the tipster reveal the design and cameras of the forthcoming mid-range phone.
Samsung Galaxy A52 — Design
The upcoming Galaxy A52 device renders reveal a familiar design to its predecessor, and most importantly it matches with the Galaxy A71 smartphone design. It features a punch-hole display, the company’s popular Infinity-O display. The display here is a full-screen flat display with centred punch hole camera. It encloses in a reasonably familiar back as well.
The tipster’s renders indicate Galaxy A52 rear, which moderately resembles the Galaxy A71’s rear panel, including texture and design. However, there appear some subtle design changes on the new Galaxy A52. While the A51 and the A71 featured a matte finish, the new A52 comes with Samsung’s Glasstic design, the tipster suggests. In this case, the Galaxy A52’s Glasstic design indicates a plastic body design that gives a glass sense, although. There’s metal frame between that adheres the punch-hole display and the rear panel.
Samsung Galaxy A52 — Specs And Price
The tipster doesn’t reveal much of the technical specs of the device yet. But he does tell the measurements fo the device featuring 159.9mm x 75.1mm x 8.4mm. He further points out that Samsung is sticking with the 3.5mm headphone jack on the mid-range devices, a minus from the flagships. The camere module on the renders reveal a set of quadruple rear cameras.
And comparing it with the predecessor Galaxy A51 and the A51G, the tipster indicates it could come in and around $499 price range.
